Description

Columbia Records stereo M2S 618, two disc set in gatefold jacket, discs have earliest grey 6 eye label, no "CBS".   Pressed in the US.   No way to be 100% sure, but it appears that this was a promo copy, however, the promo stickers on both of the discs have been removed.  The residue from the stickers (which can probably be removed with some care) is exactly the same size as the usual promo sticker.  See pics.

"The Great Schubert Symphonies", conducted by Bruno Walter.  Includes the "Unfinished" Symphony #8, with the New York Philharmonic, and the symphonies #5 and #9 ("Great") with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra.  See pics for program details.

Discs NM-, a few faint sleeve marks should not affect play, gatefold jacket VG++

Not an easy set to find.  Individual discs are numbered MS 6218 and MS 6219.  This was the first issue of these.  Later issued individually, but those have only the MS numbers on the discs, not the M2S number from the set.
