Description
Here is the story: I bought this in 1985 from the back pages of Starlog magazine for 9.98 which was a lot of money back then. It was not sold in any record store that I was ever in. Even though the film was released in 1979 the soundtrack took another year to arrive. The artwork on the cover takes certain liberties from what we saw in the movie, Max never had a mask like the one on this cover. The spine displays nicely, is abraded at the top edge and bottom edge, there are 2 pinholes in the cover that go all the way through, I had it on my bedroom wall, I know, I know, I still cringe. The plastic inner sleeve is what came with the record when it was new, the record is mint. I played it twice to record it in 1985 and then again in 1999. So basically a new record. There is some minor spotting/foxing to the back of the cover. This is the read deal though and there can't be too many of these out there, frame it and display it in your garage or record room. A pretty unique item here. The cover looks faded, it was like this when I got it, it's been stored in my record collection since 1985. FREE postage to the lower 48 states. Thank you for looking. And remember the nightrider...
