All covers, labels and inners have no rips, loosening of glue, handwriting in ink or biro pen.

All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. Brief description of item

MAD SHADOWS BY MOTT THE HOOPLE. INCREDIBLY RARE A2 & MATCHING B2 LOUD ISLAND 1970'S PRESSING (STEREO). THIS IS SUCH A SCARCE L.P. AND IN SUCH DEMAND, AS MOST WILL HAVE BEEN TOTALLY TRASHED AT PARTYS BACK IN IT'S DAY OF THE WILD 70'S. THIS HAS NOT SUFFERED THE TRIALS OF TIME & AS SUCH AN EARLY PRESSING ON THE PINK LABEL ISLAND, IS THE REAL DEAL. I'VE LISTENED TO THE WHOLE RECORD AND IT'S SOUNDING AWSOME FOR A RECORD FROM THIS ERA & NOT A GREAT SELLER AT THE TIME...THUS MAKING IT MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO FIND TODAY IN 2013. THE ACTUAL VINYL IS WHAT I WOULD CALL "BRAND NEW, SECOND HAND" NO WARPING OR INGRAINED DUST/DAMP ETC. NO NEEDLE THRASHING, OR HEAVY USE, NO FEELABLE OR VISUAL SCRTACHED MARKS. INSPECTED UNDER BRIGHT HALOGEN BULB ALSO AS NORMAL DAYLIGHT CONDITIONS. UNDER BRIGHT LIGHT YOU CAN NOT SEE ANY SIGN OF PRIOR USE...NOT EVEN ANY VISABLE HAIRLINES...ITS A BEAUTY! TAKE IT FROM ME. THE COVER IS GATED AND ONLY DOWN TO AGE, HAS SOME SLIGHT WEAR, BUT NO GRUBBYNESS, OR DAMP, SMELL IN AGE.DUST ETC. HAS ONLY SOME MINIMAL SIGN OF CORNER WEAR. INTACT SPINE AT THE SIDE WITH JUST THE SAME SMALL SIGNS OF STORAGE AGE. INSIDE THE GATED COVER IS A CRACKING IMAGE, IN HIGH DEFINITION VERY NICE AND CLEAN. HARD TO GET THIS L.P AS IT IS!! BUT IN SUCH A NEAT ALL ROUND SHAPE - LABELS INCLUDED...WHICH HAVE ABOUT ONE TINY SPIDER LINE ON SIDE TWO. CAN NOT BE BEATEN TO BE DESCRIBED AS FAIRLY & CLOSE UP VIEW IS ALSO AVAILABLE BELOW...PLEASE DO NO FORGET THAT THIS IS THE VERY EARLY A2-U & MATCHING B2-U VERSION. THERE ARE NO HANDWRITTEN NAMES IN INK OR BIRO PEN, NO RIPPING OR TEARING TO THE COVER OR LABELS. VERY, VERY NICE ACTUAL RECORD...CAN NOT GET BETTER....SHINES LIKE A REAL GEM. LOVELY. Items can be sent with added protection such as International Signed For or Airsure on request. If you do wish additional postage protection please select this option if available on payment or message me and I will send an updated invoice.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside its cover and inside a brand new polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape. Items are labelled "handle with care".

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
