Limited Edition triple vinyl edition of Madlib Medicine Show No. 3: Beat Konducta in Africa this is number 950

This was also issued in a more easily available double LP edition, this is the very limited triple edition

Madlib's medicine show continues its tour to vol.3 with 'Beat Konducta In Africa'. This is quite possibly one of the best Beat Konducta LPs yet, as Madlib pays tribute to "obscure vinyl gems from the afro-beat, funk, psych-rock, garage-rock & soul movements of countries as diverse as Zambia, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Botswana and Ivory Coast." There's 42 of these beauties, all traditionally short and efficient sketches lifted from beat tapes lying around the Madlib bunker but thematically linked with a real keen ear for stripped and nudged rhythm formations. It would fry our heads to describe them all one-by-one, but a few spins through has just proved this to be on the 100% dynamite tip.
