Description
THIS AUCTION LOT CONSISTS OF: One original 1962 Northwest Instrumental rock 'n' roll single by the MADMEN of NOTE. This disc was issued just after the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. The song titles refer to two different nightclubs that operated during the fair. Club 21 was a private membership club for the over-21 crowd that was on the fairgrounds. The other song references the Peppermint Lounge West (at 222 5th Avenue).
Please know that this is unit is the last copy I have -- I sold the other (in lesser condition) a couple weeks back on eBay for $250. In 50+ years of collecting records in Seattle, I have seen about 5 copies total. It is as rare as can be imagined.
CONDITION: Disc: VG / VG+ Record has some super light surface wear but plays and sounds great on my player. Labels: minor handling or storage wear as seen.
