You are looking at the rarest MADNESS item in the UK - the 500 copies only promo/unreleased 12" from 1980 - DON'T QUOTE ME ON THAT / SWAN LAKE. This is a different, much better in my opinion, version of Don't Quote Me than the one that apperared on the Work Rest & Play EP - the manic piano is stripped out at the start to leave Barson's cool ska organ and Chrissy's Boy's guitar at the forefront - there are also some different vocals here and there, and a slightly different ending. ESSENTIAL STUFF fort any Madness fan. These don't crop up too often - and the beauty is the vinyl here is EX!! Comes in a Stiff "Hot Biscuit" sleeve, which is graded VG. One side is fine, but the other has a sticker tear - but hey, it's the record that's most important here!!!
