Records were removed from the black paper sleeves they come in as these paper sleeves are not good for vinyl records and with time will cause hairline scratches, and create more dust and static. These original black paper sleeves will be included inside the box to make sure the set is complete.
Records were ultrasonically cleaned using Tergikleen (which is also used by US Library of Congress, etc for archival purposes) to get in and remove any dirt and debris that may be stuck deep in the grooves from the factory where the records were pressed.
After cleaning, the records were followed by the vacuum method rinse to prevent any dirt picked up from going back into the grooves.
Immediately after, the records went directly into inner sleeves that are made of a polymer blend, have an anti-static treatment, will not scratch the records and are crystal clear to showcase the beautiful colored vinyl.
The complete set also placed in a poly boxed set sleeve for protection.
