MAGGIE EAVES SINGERS Avenue LP 1972 jazz scat BOSSA funky BREAKS Barbara Moore

The Maggie Eaves Singers with the Alan Caddy Orchestra - Love Songs Of The World (Maggie's Mixture)

Hard to find original UK stereo pressing LP from 1972 on Avenue Recordings (AVE 099).

Vocal harmony group consisting of four boys and four girls, and rumoured to include Barbara Moore. Includes covers of The Beatles, Henry Mancini, Francis Lai, Michel Legrand, Neil Hefti, Burt Bacharach and Walt Disney love songs. Loads of jazz scat vocals and 'do-do-do's'! Has an ace Latin Bossa Nova track and a couple of tracks with funky drum breaks! Super stuff!

Comes in original front-laminated picture sleeve and has plain paper inner sleeve.

Tracks:

DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES
HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE
A MAN AND A WOMAN
DEAR HEART
RECADO BOSSA NOVA
WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS

THE MORE I SEE YOU
I MUST KNOW
I WILL WAIT FOR YOU
ZIP-A-DEE-DOO-DAH
THIS GUY'S IN LOVE WITH YOU
MOON RIVER

Vinyl on side A in very good+ condition. Side B is slightly better, possibly excellent or not far off.
Sleeve in very good condition with shelf wear, a sticker mark on front, and a small sellotape mark running off both sides of the opening edge. No writing or spine splits though.
