COPACABANA ROCK / YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY FROM YOUR DESTINY ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by HARETON SALVANINI. Original Italian pressing on the AGUAMANDA label (AG 9014), from circa 1974. Obscure, Italian-only soundtrack single featuring the best and funkiest track from the Magia Erotica film directed by Zygmunt Sulistrowski. The soundtrack Lp was originally released in Brazil as A Virgem De Saint Tropez on the Fermata label but the single was only ever released in Italy under the Augusto Martelli owned Aguamanda label. Groovy Brazilian funk on COPACABANA ROCK with fender rhodes / latin congas / breakbeats / wah wah / fuzz distortions and groovy blaxploitation style horn section. Great for DJs and a nice long tune (over 4min). Superb drumming by Toniquinho of Edgar E Os Tais - Cantarida Lp fame. The downstempo YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY FROM YOUR DESTINY side is spacey and mellow AOR / SSW / Brazilian groove with atmospheric hippie vocals / trippy rhodes and piano notes. Sexy nude artwork sleeve too. Rare OST 45!!!

Musicians:

Hareton Salvanini - fender rhodes

Toniquinho - drums

Rubao - percussion

Heraldo Do Monte - electric guitar

Cazé - alto sax

Bill - trombone
