MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, 60s GARAGE ROCKABILLY 45, VEE-EIGHT LABEL, RARE, ARKANSAS

Vee-Eight label 1003, 1962, condition is strong VG -. Some scratches but no skips. Sounds okay, just a few clicks. The Magnificent Seven, Pine Bluff, Arkansas’ rock’n’roll rockabilly group were together in the 1961/62 time period, consisting of Jack Hendrix on keyboard, Bill Rudolph singer, Bill Dunnam guitar, Don Murtishaw guitar, Happy Caldwell drums, Joe Wiggington singer, don’t have bass player’s name. Someone in the group also played sax, not sure who. Side 1 is Baby Doll. Awesome! Primitive garagey rocker, with cool guitars and everything else. Writers of Baby Doll are Bill Rudolph and Jack Hendrix. Side 2 is Ooh-Poo-Pah-Doo. Way cool garagey rockin’ boogie-woogie! Two cool trebley guitar breaks. Cool vocals and backing vocals. Great record!
