Description

Mahler's 5th symphony and quite possibly one of the definitive recordings. Bernstein and the Vienna Philharmonic give a gripping performance full of nuance; intensely expressive and superbly controlled. This recording demands attention and has remarkable impact. A rightly lauded and applauded interpretation!
I am strict with grading. Please study pictures.
The record is in Near Mint condition and plays extremely well with only very occasional and very minor surface noise. I noticed a minor rise and fall to the disc when playing side 1. This is very, very minor and does not affect play. The cover and booklet have a faint aging and very slight yellowing. The cover has very light creasing to the bottom left corner on the front only and one or two extremely light bumps.
An absolute must for the collection!
