Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

WILDLY RARE original first (and ONLY) UK pressing of this incredibly obscure prog gem from 1971 on Polydor featuring Patrick Moraz, who most will know as Rick Wakeman's replacement in Yes!!!  LP is a beautiful VG++ with a few light paper scuffs.  Cover is a nice VG+ with a hint of edge wear.  Even has the original custom barcoded $6.99 Reckless Records (represent, Chicago!) price label in the top right hand corner on the front cover dated August of 1994 (and listed as RARE) from when I purchased this obscurity 32 years ago(!) at their Lakeview location!  THAT'S provenance.  In 1994 prog still hadn't quite outgrown its four-letter word status after the punk revolution swept the entire genre under the rug in the late 1970s but by the early 2000s the world would finally come to its senses and prog is now one of the most collectable genres out there.  Long live prog.  Incredibly hard to find here in The States so don't sleep.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING MINT (SEALED)  NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
