Description

I am considering auctioning off a number of vinyls from our home collection.

I am not a professional collector rather just someone who has been brought up with a daily dose of music from all genres,

with thanks to my mum and dad.

 

And so we have here on the New Jazz original PURPLE LABEL NJ8269

a fairly unique offer - Mal Waldron – LP The Quest other musical wizards include Eric Dolphy, Charles Persip. Booker Ervin, Joe Benjamin and Ron Carter.

 

The vinyl appears quite fresh, the spindle sits proper, and

the labels are very purple and very clean.

Prior to the auction I played the record at parts and I hear

very very rare slight ‘noise’ which may be static or my stylus

or crackle?

I see or hear no significant faults. But once again this is

from our personal collection therefore it would be incorrect

to offer a ‘professional’ description. 

I can say that the music is so beautiful..

 

And with this in mind I’m very confident that it is a quality record that any

collector would wish to add this to their jazz collection.

 

I would describe the cover as VG+(+) the only irritation is a sticker on the

reverse of the cover (which as a child I stuck on!)

A wee bit of patience from a new mentor and I’m sure it could be peeled off.
