Description
MAMA LION
"Mama Lion"
(Family Productions 2702) Original 1972 1st US pressing LP
(see photos for track listing)
Visual grading of disc: Near Mint
(Never played. Has some sleeve scuffs/residue after all these years from sitting idle next to an ageing inner sleeve.
These are common and strictly cosmetic and do not affect play)
Condition of sleeve: Nice die-cut idea but easily prone to damage. I did the right thing at some point in
the 1980's and applied a couple tiny spots of glue on the inside front cover to keep the left two parts
from breaking completely - and repaired the 3rd bar that had come off at the bottom. It worked and there
was no worse damage - glues spots are really not noticeable at all.
Rest of the sleeve is in good shape - no splits - and ring wear is barely visible on the back side.
This was a first press promo sent to our radio station, but Paramount/Gulf-Western didn't apply a "promo" configuration
to this title (or their 2nd album either).

-SORRY, NO 'BEST OFFERS' ACCEPTED-
Continuing with the liquidation of my music collection passing them on to people who can more appreciate them.
These are items from my collection of nearly 40,000 promo 45s, LP's & CD's from the 60's thru the 00's that I was
fortunate to acquire from doing 37 years of on-air Rock Radio.
All of my records are guaranteed original pressings unless otherwise noted.
These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades.
Most were stored carefully, some were not. All of my gradings are visual and more often than not, quite generous.
Just check my feedback. You can bid and buy with confidence.
We've been selling and shipping music worldwide since 1982.
PLEASE READ MY MY GRADING SCALE
(Near Mint and Mint Minus are not the same grade)
Near Mint: Our highest grade for an opened vinyl. Record will be close to perfect in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small hairline mark, scratch or some paper scuffs on play area but no audible distractions.
It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed'). Spindle marks have no affect on grading.
Mint minus: A scuff or two or a very light mark or two on either or both sides that may possibly be heard.
VG++: One step down. A few faint marks or paper scuffs that may be audible. May show some signs of use.
VG+: Scuffs & some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will more than likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should still play through.
Record grading is subjective. We offer a 100% money back guarantee on everything we sell.
If there's any problem, we'll arrange a return and full refund for you.
If the problem is 'our' fault, we will pay the full return shipping cost.
