‘Revelation’

Pye UK  1969 rare mono first press.

NPL 18275 A-1 *T mono

Cover is Vg, primarily because of a couple of ink marks on the back – see picture. Other than a bit of feathering to the opening it’s in strong shape, with a small laminate bubble/crease top left. The inner may be a replacement and grades VG+. Labels are clean but with spindle trail. Vinyl will grade visually at VG+. Has a good gloss but if you hold it up to very strong light there are hairlines and sleeve withdrawal marks. Been played- as it deserved to be – but not excessively and on decent equipment. Plays ex for about 98% of the album on a project deck and ortofon cartridge, with just a bit of mild noise in between tracks and the odd light tick/pop. Keeper and playing copy for most. Great album, arguably their best.
