Description
Near Mint copy of this psych folk masterpiece! Mandu's magnificent 1974 concept album 'To The Shores Of His Heaven' released on Image. The story of an extraterrestrial visitor, who saddened by the state of the earth, opens his heart to the benign indifference of the universe. The songs are moody, beautifully stated with stunning melodies, enhanced by strings and soaring arrangements and some of Australia's finest players of the time including Phil Manning of Chain, Barry Sullivan, Gary Young and Peter Sullivan. Mandu ended up joining Lobby Lloyd's mid-1970s band Southern Electric and appears on the excellent Obsecration album. A rare find in stunning condition! This is the copy you want, grab it while you can!
Cat No: ILP743

I'll be selling off some of my collection of hard to find Prog Rock and Aussie Rock from the 60's and 70's over the next few weeks. All records have been kept in plastic covers since i've owned them and will be shipped with them on, in thick cardboard. Grading is done under a close fluro lamp and played to test for noise.
Happy to combine postage on multiple purchases to save you some bucks.
Grading system as follows;
M New condition. (still sealed)
M- Very minimal marking if any.
EX Excellent condition, little wear.
VG+ Minor marking, quite acceptable.
VG Marking and signs of wear, maybe cover ring wear
but still acceptable.
VG- Very marked and getting quite beat up at this stage.
G Very badly marked, lots of scratches and maybe a slight warp. Mainly label value only or a filler but still plays with a lot of noise. Will do until a better copy comes along.
