Description
MANFRED MANN CHAPTER III: Volume Two (1970 UK Vertigo swirl - 6360 012 - stamped matrix)
Impossibly rare Uk progressive album on the seminal Vertigo "swirl" label from 1970. Hardly ever turns up anymore, probably due to the fact that the world wasn't ready yet for such innovative stuff when the album was released, so it sold next to nothing at the time...
Long tracks, sublime musicianship, a typical example of what was happening in the early seventies London underground scene; make no mistake: this has nothing to do with the early Manfred Mann's hitmachine, this is great and mature progressive stuff.
Non-laminated gatefold sleeve in excellent condition, only a hardly noticeable minuscule tag on the front, and a small on on the back; record in magnificent condition.
All in all a record to please every serious collector of UK progressive.
Ebay makes it nearly impossible for foreign sellers to list correct & up-to-date postage rates; therefore and to avoid confusion, what follows are the rates that I will apply. Please await my invoice before sending payment.
Postage rates (priority airmail):
- Europe: 7 euro / 10 US dollars
- USA & rest of the world: 16 US dollars
Registered delivery: 5 euro / 7 US dollars extra (recommended for expensive items); unfortunately postage to Italy will always have to be registered (too many problems in the past, sorry...)
I'd prefer European buyers to make payment with bank transfer (account, IBAN, etc will appear on invoice); Paypal accepted but not encouraged. Other international buyers: Paypal accepted.
