"Up the Junction"

Original UK proper 1st pressing from 1968, with LAMINATED front. Released by Fontana records on a finely textured black/silver text label containing the Fontana Logo. A Mono recording, the disc comes in the original white poly-lined, "Made in England" inner sleeve.

Condition.

The Cover:-

The Fully Laminated Sleeve is crisp and clean, has only the mildest crease on left near the spine. I must clearly state that in the past there has been a sticker or label on the top left about 1cm x 1cm which has since been removed and has taken the image underneath away. Otherwise the overall condition is Excellent. Any rubbing is to the bare minimal and only noticed if looked for at the spine or at the rear! There are no splits or tares! The rear is truly exceptional and again any rubbing is only noticeable if looked for and only if scrutinised can minor creases be noticed! This cover must grade at least excellent to excellent plus in my opinion with the exception of the top left where a label used to be! Please see photo 

The Labels:-

Both Labels are almost VG+, just a few tiny spindle marks visible only when scrutinised.These are the original 1st issue track labels! Being primarily black in color, are so difficult to find in superbe condition! These labels are almost perfect in fact only angled to the light can barely be seen a handful of spider marks only and absolutely no visable ware around the spindle hole! The hole is perfectly round! The Vinyl:-

The Vinyl is in fantastic condition, played just a handful of times, IF THAT!. This is the original thick and chunky slab of vinyl, only found on the earliest pressings! On initial inspection this vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of warps or warping! This vinyl looks indeed like new in my opinion! Even on extremely close scutiny I can only see one or two whispy hair lines otherwise there isnt even a blemish at all, quite amaizinly non of the usual scuffs even! (so rare to ever find on a 40 year old LP original beleive me)!!!

The Audio:-

I have play tested this album at very loud volume on a top system! This audio is absolutely brilliant throughout! No distortion clicks, skips or pops and not even a touch of background static at all during this awesome audio! Even between tracks on the run off grooves is almost silent, like a new vinyl! It is very important to note that this vinyl has only ever had a bare handful of plays ever, if that! (These 40 year old originals rarely ever turn up in this extraordinary condition!!! The audio is graded as near to mint as it gets! For a 40 year old LP vinyl is almost impossible to ever find!

Please note! I will add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd light static (not) consistant throughout the audio! Please remember that this is a genuine 40 year old vinyl, that would have originally been played on a 40 year old system!!! MINTaudio throughout on my system! To be honest the vinyl played as new absolutely perfect on my systems!! Points to note - This has been stored for at least 30 years! A build up of dust in the grooves from laying dormant causes static crackle\ticks ! A constant clean is recomended before each play!

The Record Sleeve:-

This is a plain white poly sleeve with the Patent Application No printed. This is one of the best condition inner sleeve I have ever come across. There has been a minor fold to the top left of the sleeve at some point in its history but this is very VERY mild indeed. Looks to have been stored separatly. This is a 40 year old recored sleeve! It is in fantastic condition with not tears!

THIS ALBUM WILL BE SENT IN A LARGE BOX WITH SUPPORTING STIFFENERS. THE ALBUM WILL BE PACKED WITH PLENTY OF BUBBLEWRAP FOR ADDED PROTECTION. IT SHALL BE SENT BY ROYAL MAIL INSURED RECORDED DELIVERY. I SHALL ALSO TAKE PHOTO OF THE ITEM BEING PACKAGED FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.
