Originally released in 1994 as a limited edition picture disc, this is the first time Manic Street Preachers’ masterpiece The Holy Bible has been available on standard black vinyl.
Almost universally regarded as the jewel in the Welsh band’s crown, the record was their last to feature guitarist and lyricist Richie Edwards, whose disappearance shortly after its release remains one of music’s great mysteries. Moreover, the record painted a stark picture of the tortured soul behind its words, so much so that the NME named it as the darkest album of all time. Featuring such fan favourites as Yes, She Is Suffering, Revol, Faster and This is Yesterday, it remains an utter essential.
