Heres another very Elusive LP - A recording of the Guitar club
at Malden Manor Junior School in Surrey Greater London from 1972
performing mostly traditional folk songs with a few contemporary songs to that time
Together with an insert listing all the pupils and song details
Mostly guitar and vocals but some tracks have Ukelele and flute
some 57 pupils were involved and there is quite a variety from
the younger beginners to some pretty polished performances.
The stand out track for me is Marion Spacey and Neil Walkers take
on Scarborough Fair with some lovely vocal interplay . They also produced this
album .
With rather neat screen printed cover - designed by one of the pupils
Condition Front cover is close to Excellent with just a few signs of wear
Rear cover has a few creases and wrinkling towards the top right corner with some faintmarks ( see Photo) So VERY GOOD overall.
Vinyl and labels are EXCELLENT
A very rare album with a great deal of honesty and charm - I suspect less than 100 pressed . Quite possibly the first to be offered for sale on E bay
