MARC AND THE MAMBAS Sleaze 12" PIC SLEEVE Marc Almond Soft Cell SYNTH POP
Marc and the Mambas, Fun City b/w Sleaze (Take It, Shake It) / Taking It and Shaking It.
Circa 1982 reissue (possibly unofficial) of the original fan club only release (the original has some yellow colour to both front of sleeve and the label), S.B.L. BZS5 12.
Vinyl visually close to EX. Little evidence of spider trail marks around the spindle areas and labels are clean and unmarked. Playing surfaces still have a good gloss and are free of any noticeable marks save for two or three very light and non-feelable gentle hairline scratches and scuff marks. The surfaces have some white patination/cloudiness which appears to be inherent in the pressing. Playback is free of ticks, clicks or loud background noise. There is some background crackle to the run-ins, and this is also evident in places during the tracks, but is soft enough and masked enough not to be any great distraction to listening pleasure.
Sleeve VG plus. No pen or other marks. A small and neat sticker to top right rear corner. Front and rear panels are still bright and glossy with just a few minor pinch line creases leading in from edge areas. Slight diagonal creases to top left and bottom right corners. Edges still in fairly solid shape with just a few spots of whitening chipping. Tips lightly rubbed. Entry side has one small nick else is sharp and unfeathered.
