This rare collector's edition of Marduk's masterpiece "Panzer Division Marduk" is in pristine condition. The jacket has minor wear from storage, and the record itself has never been played.

In this album, Marduk evokes a war themed album. The concept of war is in every track, the Second World War being evoked in particular. This made the NSBM fans mark the band as such contrary to the fact that Legion, as said in an interview to Brazilian Black Metal Magazine 'A Obscura Arte', despises, saying that Marduk hasn't any political point in the band lyrics, and the band has nothing to do with Nazi views. Even Morgan has stated that this album wasn't NSBM. Panzer Division Marduk earned a lot of backlash from some NSBM bands of Ukraine, mainly Euginy Gipon's Nokturnal Mortum. Gipon stated once that he'd like to "rip apart those Jew f***ers" (Marduk) for disgracing Nazi ideology. In several songs on his side project "Aryan Terrorism" Gipon has stated his strong hatred for Marduk and the album. The use of Nazis in the album is that they are a force of evil, while the allies were Christian. This can be derived from the lyrics to the song Panzer Division Marduk, in which the last line is "against Christianity and your worthless humanity."

Also, the album cover features a photo of a Swedish tank used in World War II, not a German one. The internal sleeve has picture with a tank column triumphant across a city in ruin: this is the Red Army across a destroyed Berlin in 1945.

In the words of Legion (in the same interview), the theme of the album is war, as Nightwing was blood, and La Grande Danse Macabre was Death, forming a trilogy of 'Blood, War and Death' - Marduk's vision of what is Black Metal.
