Description

Maria Callas as Medea by Luigi Cherubini, opera in 3 acts. Teatro Alla Scala conducted by Tullio Serafin. Also in the cast Mirto Picchi, Renata Scotto and Giuseppe Modesti. The 3 silver/black English ES-1 LPs have no spindle trails and only a few very minor rubs graded NM. The box has good cover art but some corner and shelf wear graded VG+. The original price sticker is on back. The original single sheet of notes is included and has a folded corner. The set was issued without a libretto which could be ordered for a "small extra charge". A previous owner has added a libretto from the Mercury issue of this performance which will be included or left out as the winning bidder wishes. A fine copy, bid with confidence.
