For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP:
ARTIST: MARIA MULDAUR (special blues-folk singer-songwriter born 1943, Maria D'Amato), titled:
TITLE: TRANSBLUCENCY
original 1986 pressing on Uptown Records UP 27.25, STEREO, made in USA. Plastic inner sleeve. No bar code on back cover. Album never reissued to date on vinyl format.

CONDITION:
- front cover is close to NM (having: one crease by the lower right corner; two short light creases by spine bottom area)
- back cover is NM
- record is MINT visually and play-graded
PERSONNEL:
Maria Muldaur (vocals) with a special 8-member jazz combo accompanying (among them renown jazz pianist Kenny Barron). Singer active 1963-present. Famous for her participation in the 60's folk-blues-psych band Jim Kweskin & The Jug Band. SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM SOLO issued in 1973.
10 tracks, studio recordings (Nov. 7-9, 1985, Van Gelder Recording Studio, Englewood, NJ). Featuring Ellington's special track "Transblucency". Very interesting and special modern swing-cool vocal jazz music fused with occasional Latin rhythms and flavor. Rare album with not even one sale listed in Popsike. Highly recommended!
