Description

Interesting story about this LP. In the dead wax is "MFSL" and the catalog number 1-017. Turns out, this LP was never released by Mobile Fidelity. Instead, that catalog number was assigned to another MFSL LP, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon". Why Muldaur's LP never got released is anyone's guess but it's a wonderful album with fantastic sonics performed by a flock of the best sidemen (and ladies) of the day. In my opinion, MFSL didn't release many great sounding LP's, in spite of the pains they took (half-speed mastering, virgin vinyl, dead quiet surfaces etc.) to do so. This is one of the exceptions. The fidelity will knock you out. This LP originally came in a plain white sleeve but I ran across a W.B. promo jacket and grabbed it.
