Description
You are bidding on a very rare LP by MARIANNE FAITHFULL. It is called "Love In A Mist" and it was issued in the UK in 1970. It was released on Decca Records - SKL 4854. Original second stereo pressing with boxed Decca label. With ZAL-7654-1W/ZAL-7655-1W matrixes. Beautiful female folk with some psychedelic and jazzy touches by Miss Faithfull, discovered by ROLLING STONES manager Andrew Loog Oldham in 1964. Session musicians include: JON MARK, MICK TAYLOR, DONOVAN and BIG JIM SULLIVAN (all uncredited). Record includes the French version of the song Cockleshells, written by later ROLLING STONES guitarist MICK TAYLOR! Also, the songs Don't Make Promises... and Reason To Believe are different recordings than on the mono copy of this album!
Extremely rare and MUCH harder to find than the unboxed issue of this album! Truly a collector's item!
Songs featured are: Yesterday, You Can't Go Where The Roses Go, Our Love Has Gone, Don't Make Promises That You Can't Keep, In The Night Time, This Little Bird, Ne Me Quitte Pas (sung in French), Counting, Reason To Believe, Coquillage (sung in French), With You In Mind, Young Girl Blues, Good Guy and I Have A Love.
Condition of the sleeve: Very Good (has wear, some creasing, some discoloring, some ringwear)
Condition of the record: Very Good (has scuffs, some hairlines and a few mild scratches. Beautiful clean labels, but has spindle wear. Plays great on my record player).
