Description
You are bidding on a very rare LP by MARIANNE FAITHFULL. It is called "Marianne Faithfull" and it was issued in the UK in 1965. It was released on Decca Records - LK.4689. Original first pressing with grooved unboxed Decca label. With ARL-6749-2K/ARL-6750-2K matrixes, indicating a very first issue. Beautiful female pop/beat/folk record by Miss Faithfull, discovered by ROLLING STONES manager Andrew Loog Oldham in 1964. Session musicians include: JIMMY PAGE and BIG JIM SULLIVAN (uncredited). Includes Time Takes Time, Marianne's first attempt at song writing! Record comes with original innersleeve.
Truly a great keeper's copy. Obviously handled with a lot of love and care.
Songs featured are: Come And Stay With Me, If I Never Get To Love You, Time Takes Time, He'll Come Back To Me, Down Town, Plaisir D'Amour, Can't You Hear My Heartbeat, As Tears Go By, Paris Bells, They Never Will Leave You, What Have They Done To The Rain, In My Time Of Sorrow, What Have I Done Wrong and I'm A Loser.
Condition of the sleeve: EX+ (some very slight wear and very slight discoloring)
Condition of the record: Near EX (has some slight scuffs. Beautiful clean labels, plays brilliantly on my record player).
