On offer is this incredibly rare soundtrack to the 1974 Australian film "Marijuana Possession and the law".
I've owned this record for a while and always suspected it would be quite valuable but had never seen another copy sell until recently.
There's some really cool tracks on this record. More notably on Side 2.
'Unafraid', the album's opus, can be heard in full on YouTube.
'Paddington Pusher Man' and 'I Don't Wanna Grow Old' are also definitely worth listening to.
The cover is in very good condition, more so on the front which looks great. It is glossy and very clean. Back of the cover is matt and shows marking. Also has the original owner's name at the top. The top seam of the cover has come unglued about 3/4 of the way.
The record looks to have had very little play but unfortunately has a few marks that go along with the grooves. Probably caused by a poorly weighted arm. They are noticeable to look at but I don't think they go far enough into the groove to affect the sound. I didn't notice any difference when I play tested it early today but I am certainly no audiophile.
Record played through from start to finish without skipping and I didn't notice any loud pops. There was some surface noise but I suspect a good clean might fix that.
