This auction is for an original 1959 UK test or demonstration pressing of Marilyn Monroe's single I Wanna Be Loved By You - London MSI 3381
I do not have a working Hi-Fi so can only grade the vinyl visually. This looks like a VG copy using the Record Collector grading system, there are a few surface marks.
To be honest I have never seen anything like this before! The A Side is fine. The B Side has no label, there are grooves pressed in to the vinyl but there is a raised piece of vinyl in the run out as seen in photograph 3. I think it says ''45 RPM BACK'' on the raised area. To me this suggests a test pressing.
I think we have all ordered records in the past from sellers using the Record Collector grading system only to be disappointed with what we receive so therefore I grade very carefully.
However bear in mind that close up photographs of records make them look worse than they actually are! Offers will only be considered once the record has been listed for a month or two.
