A SIDE - MARJORIE BLACK - ONE MORE HURT B SIDE - MARJORIE BLACK - YOU SHOULD HAVE LOVE LABEL –HIB RECORDS (2012) CATALOGUE # -701 FORMAT – 7" VINYL SINGLE CONDITION – NEW This is the first ever release of this Northern Soul Classic!! The gritty "One More Hurt" is a Northern anthem and fills dance floors whenever it is played, and is even more popular now than when it was first discovered by the Rare Soul scene. Currently one of Richard Searling's top revival spins. It contains all the top quality production values of the great Robert Bateman who sprinkles his magic over the proceedings, mingling Marjorie's powerful vocals with a typically powerful but sophisticated production. The intoxicating result was leased by Robert to Juggy Murray's New York Sue label and has been a must have import since then and never, up till now, got an issue on UK 45. Thanks to Inferno's relationship with Robert that has now been rectified, with the single out on the HIB logo used by Robert in the 60's and revered by Rare Soul fans. Features the popular”You Should Have Love" penned by Van McCoy on the flip. MARJORIE BLACK One More Hurt /You Should Have Love NEW NORTHERN SOUL 45 (HIB) 7"
