Description
Hello again! you are considering bidding on a MARK-ALMOND - CITY MOURNING FREEDOM LP on PhoneyGraf label M-/VG+ (vinyl/cover). Cover has original shrink still on (should be replaced soon) vinyl has no marks and looks unplayed. From a private collection that shows pride in ownership, most records were put in poly inner sleeves, recorded and then put away. We have never seen such good conditions for this type of media. Mark-Almond
Profile: English jazz/rock group who were active from 1970 until 1978.Jon Mark and Johnny Almond met while both were recording with John Mayall in 1969. They formed Mark-Almond in 1970 with Tommy Eyre and Roger Sutton. Drummer Dannie Richmond was added in time for the second album in 1971. In 1972-73 the band expanded to seven members and underwent some personnel changes before disbanding. Jon Mark and Johnny Almond reformed Mark-Almond as a duo in 1975, recording four more albums before breaking up for good in 1978.
Johnny Almond died on 18 November 2009 from cancer, aged 63.

We will play grade any record upon request, if you receive a record and it does not meet your expectations we will gladly give you a refund.
This is how we grade the records - Goldmine Standard for listing the condition of items for sale.
Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Should be used sparingly as a grade, If at all.
Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. Near Mint is the highest price listed in all Goldmine price guides. Anything that exceeds this grade, in the opinion of both buyer and seller, is worth significantly more than the highest Goldmine book value.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Generally worth 50 percent of the Near Mint value. A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. We usually only list items that are VG+ at least unless it is a rare item and then we would describe any defects in detail.
