Description

In 1982, Marshall Crenshaw's debut album was a huge success and he promptly went out across the country on his first national tour. Along the way during the tour, he made quite a few in-store personal appearances during the afternoon, prior to the gig the same evening.

When in Chicago, he stopped by the legendary brick & mortar store, Rolling Stones Records, in Norridge-Chicago, the store STILL going strong.....

I waited in line to meet him the day he was there and had brought my vinyl lp with me to be autographed. Now i have been collecting all things rock 'n' roll since 1971, but Marshall signed my album with certainly the most, let's say "creative"(?)/UNIQUE, autograph i've ever obtained......
