Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:  
TITLE & ARTIST: "Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs" - by Marty Robbins on the Columbia "Six Eye" Records label (CL 1349), in beautiful MONO sound, issue date 1959. 
CONDITION: JACKET - Excellent(Jacket has edge/corner/rub wear; "X" marked in ink back center - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - Excellent(Vinyl is Columbia "Six-Eye" VERY heavy deep groove, with some very light marks - Visually graded using my specially balanced spotlight).  
SPECIAL FEATURES: Very nice copy of the excellent "Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs", especially wonderful if you love hearing the great Marty Robbins showing his true roots with some superb "cowboy songs" - a genre nearly faded from our ears at that time, as I certainly do. Back cover features thoughtful - and extensive - notes about the legendary American cowboy. SPECIAL NOTE: As a final bonus, this package includes the original Columbia "Celebrating the 10th Year of the LP" inner sleeve. This is a terrific - and very rare - cowboy-country album.

SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
