Description

Here we have your mate and my mate,the great Marty Wilde. This EP was issued in 1962 on the Philips label and features four of Marty`s songs of that period. Side one has:DON`T RUN AWAY & JEZEBEL Side two has:EVER SINCE YOU SAID GOODBYE & SEND ME THE PILLOW THAT YOU DREAM ON. Marty`s songwriting skills are to be heard on track one,while the second track on side one is the finest version of Jezebel that I have certainly heard,complete with great bass sounds and not unsimilar to Vince Taylor`s Brand new Cadillac,that featured all of Marty`s Wildcats,known then as The Playboys. The front cover shows a great picture of Marty holding a telephone and looking very very moody indeed.There is a  crease to the top left hand corner,but nothing to write home about,while the back cover is somewhat grubby,probably due to storage. All in all though,this is a nice little item that plays jolly nice too.
