Original VINYL ALBUM of a highly sought after recording by one of the worlds most respected Violinists
Amazing high quality - heavyweight vinyl pressing - a number of light surface marks in evidence -plays well throughout with some background noise distortion -not too distracting on my sensative system -Absolutely NO skips/jumps or serious crackle on playback-No deep scratches or blemishes-The disc is nice and flat - great lustre to the playing surface and immaculate blue and gold labels with no trace of spindle marking indicating that this Lp has been well cared for and stored in it's original poly lined inner sleeve over the past 50 years approximatley. I carefully grade the vinyl both visually and audible as Very Good Minus as I am aware that classical collectors are a little more discerning - However this Rare record is a very respectable copy and belongs in a cherished collection - This pressing (as you will be aware) hardly ever turns up for sale -PLEASE SEE MY FEEDBACK FOR FULL CONFIDENCE IN MY DESCRIPTIONS
The fragile fully laminated sleeve has a bright cover with the arched envelope style back intact.The front has a 21/2" tear in the bottom corner as shown and a 2" spine split with some minor laminate peel at this point leading to a 1" tear on the back-Readable artist and composer credits clearly visible still-Top and bottom edges are both nice and tight - The opening is nice and sharp with light curling of the card and the very beginnings of laminate peel on the very edge -Overall a very good sleeve in good shape all round -A couple of small repairs would make a world of difference to the new owner.
