You are viewing my rarely seen single (especially in this condition!) by MARV JOHNSON entitled, 'WHY DO YOU WANT TO LET ME GO'. The B Side is entitled, 'I'M NOT A PLAYTHING'.
Released in 1965 on the TAMLA MOTOWN label, with reference number TMG 525, this is a rare FIRST PRESSING example with the matrix numbers TMG 525 A-1 (Side A) and TMG 525 B-1 (Side B).
The Side A mother stampers are the super rare '1' 'G' with the KT tax code stamped in both the run off groove and embossed near the centre spindle.
Both sides of the disc are bright and glossy with very little evidence of play. There is some minimal, minor, very light surface marks that do not affect play. This really is a superb example that I grade as VG+/EX.
The disc is supplied in the original orange coloured Tamla Motown paper sleeve.
