This LP looks like you bought it yesterday!! This is the keeper copy you have been waiting for!! A real gem!!
This is the rare original small yellow dual globes label pressing of the Marvelettes "Please Mr. Postman" on Tamla 228 released in 1962. This label variation only existed for a few months in 1962, as Tamla was experimanting with their label. In the followiing year (1963), Tamla decided to go with two large dual globes until 1968.
VINYL
With full & like new gloss and great deep groove high fidelity, this LP grades NM with NO WEAR!!
COVER
With vibrant colors and in the shrink, would be NM-, except for a tiny drill hole in upper left corner and the owners signature written small on lower left corner of back cover under the shrink (see photo). All 4 corners are sharp without dings, dents or creases. A beauttiful cover to match this pristine vinyl.
This LP is extemely difficult to find in any condition, so don't let this very rare original gem at a very low starting bid and a no reserve pass you by!! I am a conservative careful grader (check my feedback) who guarantees (for 14 days after auction is over) everything I sell.
