First UK pressing on the Vertigo label with 'swirl' label and inner sleeve

Original 'box' like embossed outer sleeve, with lyrics on the reverse, catologue no. 6360 050

Comes with original poster insert

Matrix numbers are Side 1: 6360050 1Y//1 420 11 7, Side 2: 6360050 2Y//2 420 12 10

           
Condition

  • The outer sleeve is sound  but due to the 'box' design it has squashed slightly and resulted in some creases and the finish has started to separate in places (although still attached) and slight wear on the corners.  (see photos)
  • The inner sleeve is intact but shows signs of age with a slight tear.
  • The poster is in very good condition. No marks, tears or creases apart from the original folds. It appears as though it's never been displayed but there are two small pinholes in the centre of both top and bottom. 
  • The record is in good condition. Shows no signs of warping. (The record has not been played by us so we can't attest to the quality of the playback). Some faint spindle marks on side A and slight scratch on the run-off, no signs of hole wear. Some finger marks but no other obvious scratches.
  • Based on the guidelines of the Record Collectors Guild, I would say this LP is 'very good', although the sleeve condition may bring this down to 'good'  (http://www.recordcollectorsguild.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=17&page=1)
