Description

• YIN • YANG •

THIS RECORD CONSISTS OF TWO  18 MINUTE  COSMIC  NEW  AGE  TRACKS ENTITLED
“YIN” AND “YANG” ...  ALTHOUGH  VERY  LITTLE  INFO  ABOUT  HIM  IS  AVAILABLE,  IT IS
KNOWN  HE  RECORDED  AND  RELEASED  AT  LEAST  SEVEN  ALBUMS FROM 1971 TO 1977,
INCLUDING  FOUR  SELF-RELEASED  ALBUMS  ON  THE   BURCHETTE   BROTHERS  LABEL,
MOST  OF  WHICH  ARE  FAIRLY   PSYCHEDELIC  GUITAR   RUMINATIONS,   AND  MANY  OF
WHICH REFERENCE THE OCCULT. LATER RECORDS WERE MORE MEDITATIVE IN NATURE
AND FEATURED SYNTHESIZER. HE ALSO RECORDED AS “MASTER WILBURN BURCHETTE”.
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT WILBURN  BURCHETTE’S NAME  WAS  A  PSEUDONYM.  THIS  LP  WAS
ISSUED  IN  1974  :  THE  RECORD  LOOKS  IN  SHINY  AND  SHARP  CONDITION, THE  COVER
IS NOT AS GOOD WITH SOME WEAR  TO  UPPER  AND  BOTTOM  SEAMS  AND  FRAYING  ON
SPINE...BROWN SPOTTING TO BACK SIDE.
