Play grade ON MY Hi-End  system (Thorens TD 550/Ortofon Arm /AudioTechnica AT OC9/III MC, Ngra Melody, Nagra BPS, Nagra MPA, Canterbury 15 HE)

FULL  PLAY  CHECK  (listened to record from beginning to end)

Side A: Sonata No. 2 in F Major for Cello and Piano (op 99)

PLAYS with constant background noise (some crackle and pops). Track 1 some repeated tic at the end of track caused by a very, very tiny mark (about two millimeters), and track 3 some tics

(NO SKIPS).

(Noises are typical of these early 1950's French Pathe Mono LPs due to age and pressing ) - Superb & Dynamic Mono Cello Sound Reproduction!

Side B: Sonata No. 1 in E Minor for Cello and Piano (op 38)

Plays better than side A. Plays with constant background noise (some crackle and pops).

Record is graded with the combination Ortofon Arm /AudioTechnica AT OC9/III MC. This combination is very sensitive to background noise.

Probably with a with a MONO cartridge some background noise will disappear.

MONO CARTRIDGE IS RECOMMANDED

BEWARE:

 RECORD, as showed in photo, has a 1,6 cm wear at the start of each side but this do not affect sound because the wear is at the start of flat edge of both side before recording groove

RECORD VISUAL GRADE: VERY GOOD PLUS. IT SHOWS SOME SURFACE TRACES IN FULL LIGHT.

NO LONG AND DEEP MARKS, NO LONG AND DEEP SCRATCHES

There is also on both sides some patterning from the poly lined inner sleeve

COVER: VERY GOOD. A WEAR ON FRONT COVER (SEE PIC)
