Description
May Blitz S/T Paramount PAS 5020
Debut lp from 1970 in the original U.S. issue (it was on Vertigo in the U.K.) by this proto-metal outfit. As the cover art suggests, this is an early HEAVY rock record, and is essential to anyone who is a fan of the genre. Journeyman musicians, all three had a long history slogging through the formative years of British rock, and drummer Tony Newman (ex-Jeff Beck) would follow his tenure here with another important power trio, Three Man Army (ex-Gun).
Disc is VG++ and in the original inner sleeve. Gatefold unipak cover has only minor shelf wear.
After a hiatus, during which we moved and built our Permanentrecords library/vault/watering hole, we are finally up and running as an Ebay seller again. Welcome back to all our old friends and hello to new ones. We’re going to try things a bit differently this time. We will still feature great, rare, obscure, strange and little-known vinyl, but we’ve decided on no reserves and a very low opening bid on even the choicest stuff. We’re hoping that this will keep you coming back to us for the chance at some genuine bargains and maybe even steals, as we allow each item to find its natural price. We will of course still try to maintain the same high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Good hunting and keep in mind that we do offer a discount on combined shipping!
