Description
MC5's legendary LP "KICK OUT THE JAMS". ELEKTRA STEREO EKS-74042. This has the original uncensored audio and John Sinclair liner notes. Both later excised. Recorded "live" at Russ Gibb's Grande Ballroom in Detroit on Oct. 30-31, 1968 and produced by Jac Holzman and Bruce Botnick.
The vinyl is very good with some minor scuffs and surface scratches but plays nicely on both sides, with some pops and clicks here and there. Intermittent surface noise is a bit more prominent on side 2.
The gatefold cover has some corner, edge wear. Includes rare, original Elektra sleeve beginning to split at edges. Cover and l.p. as shown. A good, original uncensored example. Insured domestic post.
