MC5 KICK OUT THE JAMS ( 1st UK PRESSING )
ELEKTRA LABEL 1969 RARE FIRST UK STEREO PRESSING WITH GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
EKS 74042
A 2 B1
Released in 1969, I am offering today this original and hard to find 1969 first UK pressing of the classic debut live album by THE MC5 titled "KICK OUT THE JAMS". The album was recorded live in Detroit at the Grande Ballroom in October 1968 and is jam packed with classic tracks including RAMBLIN ROSE, BORDERLINE etc.
This is the brothers and sisters CENSORED version. The uncensored version wasn't released in the UK on an orange and silver label. It's a very clean example which plays through with great audio. You should not be disappointed.
The album comes complete with its original matt gatefold sleeve which is in near excellent condition, it has no stickers or unwanted writing etc but typical of this albums fragile sleeve there is some wear to the edges.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through with excellent audio. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks extremely clean & audibly plays through in excellent condition with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The gatefold sleeve is in near excellent condition. No stickers or tears or unwanted writing etc but there is some edge wear.
The LABELS, The original orange & silver ELEKTRA labels are showing moderate spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing etc.
The INNER, The generic inner sleeve is clean but has yellowed with age.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
