Description

The MC5's incendiary 1968 Debut LP,'Kick Out The Jams' on Elektra Records. This is the famed uncensored 1st Edition of this classic LP. Withdrawn shortly after release due to the outrage caused by the foul language used by band and manager both in print and on vinyl.. John Sinclair's famous 'obscene' liner notes inside the gatefold are present as is the horrifying (for 1968 anyway..) 'Motherfucker' line-audible in track # 2-'Kick Out The Jams'. Record has around 5-6 very small,light scuffs/marks of which I have taken pics for potential buyers to gauge for themselves.None of these are deep/feelable and have no affect on play whatsoever. Most would consider these scuffs/marks a strictly visible flaw. Aside from the pictured marks,the record is a clean,shiny VG+ all over, and sounds absolutely awesome. (Graded VG only because of these 5-6 very light scuffs/marks-all pictured..)Top middle seam split is starting on LP pocket side of jacket (last pic). Overall, a nice, loud & proud copy of this rare & highly sought after collector's item.Priced accordingly & an absolute steal at this insane low price-grab it quick! Thanks for your interest.
