Description

Up for your bidding consideration here is an original,uncensored copy of the 1st MC5 LP,'Kick Out The Jams' from 1969. This is the ultra rare,Tan label,true 1st press,uncensored version of this LP. The 'Motherfucker' in 'Kick Out The Jams' has NOT been altered to,'Brothers and Sisters' on this version and is completely audible. This version also features the complete, uncensored John Sinclair liner notes in the gatefold. Shortly after release, the swear words in Sinclair's notes were crossed/blocked out, and soon after this, the Sinclair notes were eventually removed altogether from future pressings. A rare piece of rock and roll history..Cover has a promo punch upper right and some splitting starting on the top seam/Vinyl is a beautiful VG++. These records have been scooped up into private collections in recent years and do not come up for sale very often..Well worth putting your best bid forward, as original copies are becoming increasingly hard to come by.
