Description
MEET THE BEATLES
CAPITAL RECORDS - ST 2047
FULL DIMENSIONAL STEREO ALBUM
Produced in 1964, this was the very 1ST BEATLES album! This much sought-after album is almost impossible to find still in its original SHRINK-WRAPPED jacket, a fact that has kept this jacket in virtually like-new condition, with no stains, markings or wear spots for the past 48 years. The sleeve (photo #5) is original to this issue.
PLEASE NOTE: While the shrink-wrap is present and undamaged, it has been opened, and this record has been played. NOTE: There is slight discoloration along the jacket edge where it has been opened in order to remove the vinyl.
The vinyl is likewise in excellent playing condition. I find 1 or 2 minor scratches and a scuff mark on Side One, and no such flaws on Side Two. The lables are free of any markings or flaws.
Tracks recorded on this, the first BEATLES album, are noted in the final photo.
Printed along the bottom edge of the jacket back are: "Produced by GEORGE MARTIN" and "MADE IN U.S.A. Factories: Scranton, PA -- Los Angeles, Calif."
Photo Note: Glare in the photos is merely camera flashback - not a surface flaw.
POSTAGE: Buyer to pay USPS Mail Postage of $ 4.00 to any US zip code. No International shipping.
