Description
This is a very nice copy of one of the absolute first pressings of this classic Beatles album, without any BMI and/or ASCAP publishing credits on the round record labels!
The record plays with no skips and only some typical minor crackling. The only "imperfection" being the original owner's name lightly written in the ring around both labels (see scans). The album even comes in the original blue Capitol Records "dust" sleeve.
The cover, in this rare case, is perhaps as hard to come by as the disc, as it is STILL in the original store "loose" poly-bag. These are most uncommon as, by this time record companies were shipping their albums "shrink-wrapped." However, some stores preferred to take them out of the shrink, and re-seal them in their own "loose" poly-bags...AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM (see scans)!
Needless to say, because of this, the cover of this Beatle album is in exceptional condition...which most definitely adds to the collectability of this very limited "first run" pressing!
