MEET THE BEATLES (Capitol Stereo ST2047) Alternative ‘Robert Freeman’ sleeve

Meet the Beatles was released in January 1964 and was the first Beatles album released by Capitol in the USA. It comprises tracks from the UK album With the Beatles along with I Want to Hold Your Hand, I Saw Her Standing There and This Boy. The sleeve photo used by Capitol was the same Robert Freeman shot that Parlophone used for With the Beatles. Alternative photos were considered, including this one also taken by Robert Freeman.

Disc has been played less than a dozen times, no scratches or jumps etc. Sleeve is in excellent condition, no marks, creases or tears.
