ORIGINAL 1964 U.S. VINYL LP PRESSING of the debut Capitol Records release by THE BEATLES entitled, Meet The Beatles.  MONO pressing (Capitol T-2047).  This is the very scarce first pressing of the LP in which, during the rush to get this album to market in time for their debut appearance on THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW, Capitol accidentally omitted the song publishing (BMI/ASCAP) credits on the labels.  Original rainbow label. Original blue Capitol inner sleeve also included (see pic #6 above)!  Cover and Vinyl in nice VG condition.  Cover exhibits some wear along bottom seam/corners, including the "beginnings" of a 2 1/2" seam split near bottom-center seam (see pic #5 above).  A few light creases along top of back cover.  The initials "KS" are written in black marker pen and barely noticeable on Side 2 label (see pic #4 above)!

OUR CONSERVATIVE "VISUAL" VINYL GRADING SCALE (Grading is usually based on the "look" of the vinyl; we normally do not have the time to listen to each record and grade its "sound"):

(SS) STILL SEALED. Original factory seal.

(M) MINT: Perfect, flawless, new

(NM) NEAR MINT: Almost perfect, possibly no more than a few MINOR scuffs, wrinkles or wear.

(EXCELLENT/VG++) Less quality than Near Mint, but still in beautiful condition.

(VG+) Very Good+. Some scratches or scuffs, some surface markings, some wear, etc.

(VG) Very Good. Too many scratches, scuffs, or wear for VG+, but still in nice condition.

(VG-) Very Good-. Lots of wear (scratches, etc.). Starter copy.

(G) Good. Wrecked. Excessive wear.

(P) Poor. Just what it says.
