MEET THE BEATLES! ST 2047 / 1st US Pressing- Rainbow, NO credits label / VG+

The Beatles ?– Meet The Beatles!

THE VINYL :  VG+ :  The vinyl surface retains much of its original gloss, with numerous, light hairline marks evident. There are no deep marks. All songs play through with no skipping or sticking. There is some light noise present when the needle encounters some of the light marks.

The labels are in good shape, with some needle marks. There is moderate spindlewear present. Please note that a sticker has been affixed to the Side 2 label (please see photo).

THE COVER :  EX :  Generally, the cover has been well-stored over these 50 years. The top and bottom seams are intact / the spine has fraying, and a 70% middle split, while the spine ends are intact / very faint right front ringwear / blue tint front cover photo, brown-coloured BEATLES! lettering, with some light scuffing and a few light wrinkles / #3 appears to the left of the RIAA stamp, in the lower right corner of the back cover (please see photo) / no writing, paper loss, stains or dirt.

Consistent with this hard to find Beatles release, George Martin's name does not appear on either label, or the cover.

We have placed both the cover and the LP into separate, protective plastic sleeves.

This version is the very first stereo pressing, which has NO publishing credits to BMI or ASCAP. There were roughly 2000 stereo copies of this manufactured before the first correction was made.

RECORD GRADING DESCRIPTION:

THIS RECORD IS SIGHT-GRADED ONLY UNDER A BRIGHT LIGHT, ACCORDING TO THESE DEFINITIONS:

SEALED: RECORD IS WRAPPED IN PLASTIC & UNOPENED.

NM-: RECORD HAS LITTLE OR NO INDICATION THAT IT HAS BEEN PLAYED.

EX: MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE (LIGHT SCRATCHING/PAPER SCUFFS), BUT IN ALL A RECORD THAT HAS BEEN WELL-CARED FOR.

VG+: LESS CARE THAN EX, LIGHT SCRATCHING OR SCUFFING IS MORE EXTENSIVE. STILL VERY PLAYABLE & WILL LIKELY PROVIDE A QUALITY SOUND.

VG & BELOW: WHILE PLAYABLE, THIS RECORD HAS BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK. OBVIOUS SIGNS OF WEAR & SHOULD BE CONSIDERED TO BE IN A LOW GRADE.  A RECORD GRADED BELOW VG MAY HAVE A VALUE BASED UPON ITS RARITY OR UNIQUENESS.

WE  RECOMMEND THAT YOU CLEAN THIS RECORDING BEFORE PLAYING. RECORDS THAT ARE  DECADES OLD CAN ATTRACT & ACCUMULATE DAMAGING FOREIGN MATERIAL THAT REDUCES SOUND QUALITY. THIS IS NORMALLY EASILY CORRECTED WITH A GOOD CLEANING.

EBAY HAS DESCRIBED SOME OF THE MORE WELL-ACCEPTED CLEANING METHODS, & YOU CAN FIND THESE AT:
